What is an IP Blacklist?
IP blacklists (also called DNS-Based Blackhole Lists, or DNSBLs) are real-time databases of IP addresses known to send spam, host malware, or engage in abusive behavior. Mail servers and security systems query these lists to decide whether to accept or reject incoming connections.

| zen.spamhaus.org | Composite | SBL + XBL + PBL |

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is my IP blacklisted?
Common reasons include sending spam, being part of a botnet, running an open proxy, or operating from a dynamic/residential IP range.
How do I remove my IP from a blacklist?
Each DNSBL has its own delisting process. Visit the DNSBL website directly and submit a removal request. Spamhaus and Barracuda have self-service portals.
How long does delisting take?
Automatic removals (SORBS, CBL) can happen within hours once the issue is fixed. Manual reviews (Spamhaus SBL) may take 1–3 business days.
